MUTAWINTJI Heritage Tours is proudly owned and operated on behalf the MUTAWINTJI Local Aboriginal Land Council. who works in conjunction with the New South Wales, National Parks and Wildlife Service.

Come along and share an authentic experience with one of our local Aboriginal guides, who will share with you our Dreamtime stories, Cultural values, Cultural Heritage, History and beautiful iconic scenery of the prestigious Bynguano Ranges which will leave you exhilarated and amazed.

Our aim is to offer you an experience which will leave you feeling in correlation to this beautiful part of the country. Our experienced guides will also share their unique Indigenous knowledge of the native Flora and Fauna of Outback New South Wales.

MUTAWINTJI Heritage Tours is a local company which organises Aboriginal guided tours at MUTAWINTJI National Park – NSW – Australia.

We provide guided visits of the sacred Historic Site, with its superb ochre hand stencils and rock engravings. It is possible to organise or customise thematic workshops, such as bush tucker discovery, arts, bird watching, astronomy, photography, …

All our guides are Aboriginal experienced accredited guides.

Available guided tours: 

1.  ½ day: Kulluwirru Dreaming


A guided tour of the restricted access Historic Site with an audio/visual dreamtime story of Kulluwirru (an Ancient Ancestor God), with superb Rock Engravings and Ochre Stencils to feast your eyes upon (2 ½-3 hrs).

2.  ½ day: Amphitheatre gorge walk

A guided tour between the majestic cliffs of the restricted Amphitheatre Gorge with different styles of Aboriginal art including art from Mt Grenfell (Ngyiimpaa country). (2 ½-3 hrs).

3.  1 full day: ½ day tour + Workshop or Bush tucker discovery


An elective ½ day guided tour + workshop or Bush tucker discovery (5-6hrs).
